This novel is divided into three parts, each focusing on the fate of a character from the family of the first character, Manfred Macx. Manfred is an altruistic entrepreneur who lives without needing money and offers his ideas for free. As technology progresses, humanity takes steps towards the singularity, where artificial intelligences surpass human capabilities.

The novel addresses the theme of the singularity, the moment when technology progresses so unprecedentedly that it would allow humans to surpass the limits of their own minds and bodies, just like the Neuromni-Link.
